EPICS stands for “Experienced People in Christ’s Service”, and we are a group of adults at New City Church who are in the “empty nest” season of life!

Our goal is to provide opportunities to make connections with others in this same life stage, promote mutual encouragement and, of course, laughter and fun when we gather.

We also believe it’s important to serve together! Some recent projects we’ve done are Operation Christmas Child, a diaper drive for our local pregnancy center, serving at the State Training School, and Ankeny Love Lunches. We also find ways to serve our church, including VBS participation.
